Reviewing pop album Turning Point Pop / Punjabi music album Turning Point by Khiza was released in 2009. There are 20 songs in total including 2 remixes. Honestly, the punjabi tracks are no great or good. Very usual stuff. What really stand out are the songs sung by Pakistani singers Omer Nadeem & Hadiqa Kiani . Omer sounds like Atif a lot but has better voice than him. Hadiqa Kiani is Pakistan's best female pop singer & it shows in her song Muhabataan. Go for it if you're bored of usual bollywood stuff. Below is the review of the songs that I liked. Click the songs to play them . 1. Dil Ka Diya : - Singer - Omer Nadeem. A typical pop numbe r sung well by Omer in typical Atif style. Electronic effects can be heard in conjugation with piano & percussion beats. Instantly likeable song. Tune is simple & effective. Best part is the last Bujh Hai Gaya. Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album. 2. Lagan Lagi More Piya :- Singer(s) - Shreya Ghoshal & Shahab Sabri. Reminds of Tere Na

Teri Aankhein :- Music - Raaj Aashoo, Lyrics - Murli Aggrawal Not very often do we come across a Non-Filmy Album that has got really good songs & good variety. Teri Aankhen is one such album that consists of really different & unusual songs. It consists of 11 tracks & all of them are unique. Barring Aaja Pyare , i heard them all & was really impressed by music talent of young composer Raaj Aashoo. Now why didn't i hear Aaja Pyare? Simple. I hate Mamta Sharma's voice & singing style & hence just skipped her song. Rest of the album is reallyu very good. Please note that there is nothing magical or extraordinary in Teri Ankhen (except Saiyyan ). But the USP of the album is the freshness & the variety. We have mushy romantic Title song, Sufi Saiyaan, Folkish Jee Le Har Pal & Grunge(y) Ya Khuda. Best part is that it boasts of some of the best contemporary bollywood singers like Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Javed Ali & Zu

Reviewing Dil Ki Baatein non-filmy music album. Not sure how many of us have heard Zubeen's album Zindagi (song Jiya Re Jiya Re, Lage Na Jiya Re ) but If you have heard chances are that you know who the composer was. His name is Dudul Saikia "Aalaap ". The Assamese guy was brilliant in Zindagi & now he has come back with another album titled " Dil Ki Baatein ". This time its an assorted album with various singers but the major attraction is the song Mera Kya Hai sung by soulful singer Javed Ali . I haven't got to hear all songs but did hear Mera Kya Hai & its just brilliant! Here's the review of the song. Listen to the song : - Mera Kya Hai   It starts off with singer crooning Kahin Kahin in background. And magic starts right from the first line. It is super melodious & tuneful. Music : - Sharib - Toshi &  Gaurav Dagaonkar . This time again, I just heard 3 songs from this album & found both of them beautiful. Primary reason was KK as I am a die-hard fan of his songs. So downloaded that after seeing his name. And quite surprisingly downloaded the one sung by Sonu Nigam & Rishabh Srivastava as well. So here's the review of these 3 songs. Will review other tracks as well once I get to hear them. Click songs' names to play them. 1. Aap Ki Aahat : - Singer - Sonu Nigam. Music - Sharib - Toshi. Now this is magic! Wasn't expecting this from Sharib - Toshi at all. This one is a real outstanding track & will appeal to all those who are in love. Very beautiful composition & singing. A very romantic, rather passionate song sung in a typical Sonu Nigam style. Urdu lyrics accompany the melodious tunes well. Sabri brothers deserve a special mention for this super melodious piece of music. Orchestration is brill

A few are available as video & not audio. 1. Barhaan Dil : - KK .  From the movie ' Mr. Singh & Mrs. Mehta '. This one is perhaps the first ever Ghazal sung by KK. Composed by Ustaad Shujaat Husain Khan & Shaarang Dev Pandit (Son of Pandit Jasraj) .  Has got a BLUES feeling associated with it. KK has sung this rather beautifully. A very melodious composition complete with super singing. Orchestration is not so heavy, not so light. I can say, its a kinda fusion of western instruments & Indian music style. Go for it. It will please you all the more.  2. Yeh Tanhaai :- KK .  From the movie ' Mukhbiir' ( originally taken from KK's debut album Pal ), this is one track that really feels smooth as silk.
