Music Review of Haunted!

I came to know about this album when one of my friends posted in KK's group on Facebook. And since I am a die-hard fan of KK, I decided to give it a try. So here comes the review of Haunted.....Click songs' name to play.

Composer - Chirantan Bhatt.

Lyricist - Junaid Wasi

1. Tum Ho Mera Pyaar:- Singers - KK & Suzanne. Lyrics - Shakeel Aazmi.
Honestly, I didn't like this in first hearing. Blame it to my poor quality headset that I had at that time. But since it was a KK song, I again heard it @ my home. And believe me, it blew my head off!!! I fell in love with the melody of this beautiful song. It starts off with electronic tune, and when KK sings the first line, magic begins. A progressive track that begins with slow tempo (Jism Se Rooh Tak) and ends with faster Tum Ho Mera Pyaar!!! Chirantan Bhatt did a wonderful job. Electric Guitar tunes accompany the vocals very well, so do those electronic tunes..This has become my love anthem!! Makes you feel like loving!!! And the paragraphs are simple mesmerizing!! Jab Mile Nahin Thay Tum takes my breath away!! Percussion part is very well paced and placed. GEM OF A SONG!! Full marks to composer Chirantan Bhatt.

2. Tera Hi Bas Hona Chaahoon:- Singers - Jojo & Nazam Sheraz.
Now this is called Fusion!! Sound of Tabla gives a pleasant feeling to the listener. Heard Jojo's voice after a long time. He still is the same!! Sung in a high pitch voice. This one relies on percussion part more. Though there are subtle sounds of Electric Guitar and Keyboard in the background! Tabla sound is the USP of this somg!! Very much like Sufi Rock!! Excellent lyrics as well. Composer shows his variety in this tuneful song!! Loved the sounds of Cymbals a lot :)

3. Jaaniya:- Singer - Siddharth Basrur.
Begins with a Piano tune that enthralls the heart. This one has a Blue feeling!! Piano tune & light percussion alongwith Cymbals make it quite interesting!!! Softly sung by young Siddharth. A kinda song that is quite unusual. Harsh voice of vocalist makes it unique. Loved that Piano sounds a lot...Read somewhere that Jaaniya is a Latino style song!!! Now if this is latino, then I really need to get my ears checked!!!! Latino is something that we can hear in "Ek Din Teri Raahon" (Naqaab), "Hai Ishq Ye Kya" (Bas Ek Pal), "Touch Me" (Dhoom-2) & "Maria Maria" (Partner)!!! Hope, I am not mistaken.

4. Mujhe De De Har Gham Tera:- Singer - Siddharth Basrur.
Again the subtle sounds of Tabla create a magic!!! Very melodious despite being sung in a coarse voice. But really, Siddharth sounds best when he sings like this. Very faint Tabla sound is the USP alongwith the well placed Guitar riffs. Again sounds like a Sufi number. But yet again, an excellent song. Very catchy tunes!!! Full on!!!

5. Sau Baras:- Singer - Tia Bajpai.
Kicks off with Piano sound!! Little instrumental accompaniment is there, but sure is very effective. This one gives the name of the Movie, its true meaning!! Really haunting tunes and lyrics. Tia sings it with a lot of ease. Percussion part is very well placed. Cymbal sounds do their job well. Snare Drums also seem to be playing their role well. Piano tunes create a really amazing environment where one can easily feel the theme of movie.

6. You're So Beautiful:- Singer - Nikhil D'Souza.
This one kicks off with Acoustic Guitar riffs!!! This softly sung number is again a slow paced melody with appropriate instrumental accompaniment. Percussion is a bit heavy!! Guitar riffs in the background and absence of Cymbals (very little usage) makes it different from other songs of this album!!

USP of the album - Absence of Noisy songs!! Mix of usual and unusual music!! Ultra melodious  Tum Ho Mera Pyaar is my pick of the album.
My rating :- 4.5 out of 5 :)

Songs To Tell Your Love She Is Beautiful - My Favorites

Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Like I always say, give songs their time to grow on you. Don't write it off straight away.  I am not including James Blunt's You're Beautiful as I have not heard that song properly. Also, Chaudahvin Ka Chaand doesn't feature here since am not very much into old songs. So, below is the list of my favourite songs that I hear to praise her beauty, in no particular order. 1. Main Agar Kahoon (Om Shanti Om) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal. Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, kaaynaat mein nahin hai kahin, taareef ye bhi to sach mein kuchh bhi nahin. No need to explain anything. She indeed is beautiful & this song seconds that. 2. Ek Ladki To Dekh

Hindi Songs With Key-change!

Probably the first post of its kind (once again)! This very post talks about key-change in Hindi songs. What is a key-change all about? Well, click the link in the line above & listen to the songs there. You will notice a sudden change in sound towards the end. That's key-change for you. While most of the western-style music relies on it (not necessarily), its a rare phenomena in Hindi songs just like this . If you're keen listener, you'll be able to feel the difference in sound aka the key! Below are such very few Hindi songs. 1. Chup Chup Ke - Movie:- Rush | Music: - Pritam 2. Hum Sey - Movie:- Humse Hai Jahan | Music:- Siddharth - Suhas Siddharth - Suhas are known for their Rock influenced music & vocalist Suraj Jaggan, too, is known for his Rock influenced vocals. Powerful voice, though melody doesn't impress much. Lyrics are cliched as well. But I like it for that KEY-CHANGE! 3. Tum Ho Mera Pyaar - Movie:- Haunted 3D | Music:- Chirantan B

Dangerous Ishq - My Music Review

Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album. 2. Lagan Lagi More Piya :- Singer(s) - Shreya Ghoshal & Shahab Sabri. Reminds of Tere Na
