Dangerous Ishq - My Music Review

Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music.
Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed.

Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq.

1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar.

Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album.

2. Lagan Lagi More Piya :-Singer(s) - Shreya Ghoshal & Shahab Sabri.

Reminds of Tere Naam. But the tune is still a bit fresh. Shreya Ghoshal sings the song brilliantly. Again a very melodious & catchy piece of music. Only downside is the repetition of the opening lines. But when Shreya sings Lagan Lagi, it feels great again. Not an outstanding song, but is really melodious.

3. Naina Re Tu Hi : - Singer(s) - Himesh Reshammiya, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Shreya Ghoshal.

Had Himesh not sung it, it would have been even better (he didn't sound bad, though).  There could have been one more version. But still the tune is catchy. Master singer Rahat saahab sings it in his signature style & Shreya, as usual, sounds fresh. Might not attract straightaway but give it a few more hearings & you'll start humming it. Himesh doesn't disappoint with his voice & music. The song carries a blues feeling & orchestration elaborates it even more. Best thing is that vocals do all the magic & light orchestration makes it even more beautiful. One of the best compositions by Himesh. Go for it.

4. Ishq Mein Ruswaa :- Singer(s) - Anweshaa. Click the song to play.

This one just stands out, in terms of singing. Anweshaa sounds way too beautiful & soft. She just sings her heart out. Tune is very very catchy. Harmonium & Tabla make it a complete Indian Muzraa number. Orchestration is minimal & very effective. Anweshaa carries out the entire song on her own. Does get a bit repetitive but is sure likeable. 5 out of 5 for her voice & addictive melody.

5. Umeed : - Singers(s) - Amrita Kak & Shahab Sabri.

Here comes the change as a surprise element. Previous 4 songs were light, sweet, raag based melodies. Umeed is a fusion of typical Himesh club beats with Indian tunes. Again an addictive song because of its fast, foot-tapping mood. Not an exceptional stuff but again, not bad at all. Croons by Shahab Sabri make it interesting & orchestration is very well placed. More of a beat-driven song. You'll enjoy it.

Talking about Remixes  & Reprises : -

4 songs have their remix versions & 2 have reprises. Lagan Lagi doesn't have any remix. Best one is Naina Re (Remix). It is fast, electronic & addictive. You'll love the energy in this. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua has a Reprise & a R&B Remix version. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua (Reprise) is a solo number & R&B Remix is a duet. Both are just the same in terms of orchestration & the english raps. Okay stuff only. Lack the soul of original version. Umeed (Remix) is again a more electronic, faster version of original. Again not as good as original version. Same holds true for Ishq Mein Ruswaa (Remix). Doesn't attract much. Only good thing is that it has been remixed by India's first lady DJ Kary Arora. Naina Re Tu Hi (Reprise) is a slower, softer version of original & is as good as its original version.

DI is a really very good album & all original songs are very very easy on ears (except Umeed!). They are all quite likeable. Only good remix is Naina Re (Remix).

My pick(s) - Ishq Mein Ruswaa (for Anweshaa's singing & voice) & Naina Re Tu Hi.

What are you saying...Naina Re is an Amazing song Buddy. How could you ignore the gr8 singers involved. A disrespect to Himesh's singing and composition and Rahat ji singing too.Naina Re is creating History.Himesh has sung this song beautifully and there is no doubt. Anwesha is very good but you pick only her song.Is she is your Girlfriend?
@Sumit - Please read the review once more. I did admire the song & Himesh's voice. But it would have been even better had some one else sung it. The tune is very very catchy & is likeable. I never disrespected his singing & music & Rahat ji's singing. Check the review once more to see that. I wrote Himesh DOESN'T disappoint. I would like you to go through the review once again & let me know. I picked Anweshaa's song because she managed to make her presence felt among legends like Rahat saahab & established singers like Shreya. She isn't my girlfriend either :) LOL!! Just hear the song & feel her voice. She sounds very very fresh. :)I take my word back where I wrote MUCH. It should have been EVEN :)

Hi Shashank,
I agree with Sumit..... i guess you are just trying to put himesh reshamiya down... i dont know for what reason... he has done a brilliant job on the song and he needs to be appreciated.....
@Anonymous - I do agree to you both that Naina Re is one of the best songs of Himesh. FYI, Himesh is one of my favorite music composers. You can check my FB profile & you'll see i have joined many of his pages. And where did i put him down? I did write he didn't sound bad either. I agree, he did sing it well. It would have been even better had some one else sung it. Perhaps, there must have been one more version. I would like you to see the review again. I am changing it a bit. Thanks for dropping comments. Stay glued :)

Thanks for the comment Suraj. Like i wrote, DI is one of those rare music albums that consists of Indian Melodies. USP of the songs is that they are very soft, heart-touching & tuneful. Very different from the music that we are hearing these days.
Thanks a lot Raj :) Honestly speaking I didn't like Naina Re in first hearing, but then started liking it. It sure happens to be one of the best compositions by him. Thanks for dropping comment. Stay glued for more :)

really naina re , ishq mein ruswa and tu hi rab are fabulous tracks. I feel proud that india has got such a great composer like HR. we were bored to listen to the same type of songs these days. DI is a great hallmark of himesh's fascination towards pure indian music. After all, good music review.
Very true! I didn't like DI in the first hearing but then started to like it. Really was bored of all that usual stuff that has been presented for past quite some time. DI comes as a breath of fresh air. HR is a great musician. He needs to respect himself more. The man behing Main Jahaan Rahoon can't be an ordinary person. He has got immense abilities & he sure will do wonders in future. Thanks for liking the review.

Songs To Tell Your Love She Is Beautiful - My Favorites

Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Like I always say, give songs their time to grow on you. Don't write it off straight away.  I am not including James Blunt's You're Beautiful as I have not heard that song properly. Also, Chaudahvin Ka Chaand doesn't feature here since am not very much into old songs. So, below is the list of my favourite songs that I hear to praise her beauty, in no particular order. 1. Main Agar Kahoon (Om Shanti Om) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal. Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, kaaynaat mein nahin hai kahin, taareef ye bhi to sach mein kuchh bhi nahin. No need to explain anything. She indeed is beautiful & this song seconds that. 2. Ek Ladki To Dekh

Hindi Songs With Key-change!

Probably the first post of its kind (once again)! This very post talks about key-change in Hindi songs. What is a key-change all about? Well, click the link in the line above & listen to the songs there. You will notice a sudden change in sound towards the end. That's key-change for you. While most of the western-style music relies on it (not necessarily), its a rare phenomena in Hindi songs just like this . If you're keen listener, you'll be able to feel the difference in sound aka the key! Below are such very few Hindi songs. 1. Chup Chup Ke - Movie:- Rush | Music: - Pritam 2. Hum Sey - Movie:- Humse Hai Jahan | Music:- Siddharth - Suhas Siddharth - Suhas are known for their Rock influenced music & vocalist Suraj Jaggan, too, is known for his Rock influenced vocals. Powerful voice, though melody doesn't impress much. Lyrics are cliched as well. But I like it for that KEY-CHANGE! 3. Tum Ho Mera Pyaar - Movie:- Haunted 3D | Music:- Chirantan B

Axwell Λ Ingrosso - Dreamer

Swedish duo  Axwell Λ Ingrosso ( who were 2/3rd of legendary Progressive House trio Swedish House Mafia ) made their comeback in 2014 with a new single called Something New . I am not counting the debut EP X4 here. Something New quickly became my top favourite & I still consider it the best track they have ever produced. I can even say Something New is one of my all-time favourites across all the genres. But this post is not about Something New . It is about something new ;) So, I am talking about their another single Dreamer from their debut album More Than You Know . I first heard the song when I was on my first Europe trip & it is one of the reasons why I love this song so much. It is hard for me not to associate music with time! There is an interesting story about it.  Axwell Λ Ingrosso released a teaser of Dreamer during Amsterdam Dance Event 2016 ( ADE ) at Heineken Music Hall. And since the song is dramatically catchy & it also reminded people of good
