Song of the Week - "Hero" by Charlotte Perrelli

Year is about to pass by & what a great year it has been for me as far as music is concerned. Got to listen to some of the most amazing artists. Found a great music genre Schlager that just blew my head off. Presenting you an absolute Schlager gem Hero performed by Swedish pop-singer Charlotte Perrelli & composed by great Swedish composer Fredrik Kempe . How do I describe this beauty? The song is pure bliss. With a hint of 80's pop sounds in the background, Hero is magical in leaving its impression on mind. Composition is brilliant, just brilliant. Arrangements are mind-blowing & singing is top notch. Been listening to it for past 6 months & haven't been able to get it off my head. Yes, its that addictive. You'll definitely appreciate Perrelli's high pitched singing. The key-change towards the end is awesome. Fredrik seems to have put all his efforts in the arrangement. Unforgettable. The bridge is perhaps the best part of this song. Such an upbea...

Now that the winters have come, we all are feeling the chill down the spine. And if one thing that can compliment the beautiful weather, it has to be a beautiful melodious love song. So, Song of the Week for you all to enjoy this Winter season is Love Love Love performed by Agnes . The beginning may not appeal to you but once Agnes starts her Love Love Love, its magical!!! Melody is perfect, singing is bang-on & orchestration is awesome. The Key-Change towards the end is a wonderful surprise for ears. Go for it if you're in love or want to enjoy the beauty of Winters. Below is the song for you.

Song of the Week - Do Kahaaniyaan (Jhoota Hi Sahi)

Not many songs these days have any melody. All we get to hear is either noisy non-sense item songs or rubbish soulless forgettable numbers, though I know many people like only stuff like that. But my blog doesn't target those people. Its only for people who know what music is & what good music is. So, today I present an extremely melodious, sugar-syrupy soft-romantic song called Do Kahaaniyaan from the movie Jhoota Hi Sahi . This beautiful song is composed by A.R. Rahman & sung by Sonu Nigam . Though, I am not a big fan of Rahman, I like his melodious stuff like Kun Faya Kun, Guzaarish & Tu Hi Meri Dost. Coming back to Do Kahaaniyaan, its a soft progressive song with some very good lyrics by Javed Akhtar Sahab. Though, the word Telephone will surprise you :) This one has Rahman touch since its beginning. You'll sure love this. Those who are in love will enjoy it even more. A perfect song to feel magic of love. Go for it.
