Song of the Week - "Hero" by Charlotte Perrelli

Year is about to pass by & what a great year it has been for me as far as music is concerned. Got to listen to some of the most amazing artists. Found a great music genre Schlager that just blew my head off. Presenting you an absolute Schlager gem Hero performed by Swedish pop-singer Charlotte Perrelli & composed by great Swedish composer Fredrik Kempe. How do I describe this beauty?

The song is pure bliss. With a hint of 80's pop sounds in the background, Hero is magical in leaving its impression on mind. Composition is brilliant, just brilliant. Arrangements are mind-blowing & singing is top notch. Been listening to it for past 6 months & haven't been able to get it off my head. Yes, its that addictive. You'll definitely appreciate Perrelli's high pitched singing. The key-change towards the end is awesome. Fredrik seems to have put all his efforts in the arrangement. Unforgettable. The bridge is perhaps the best part of this song. Such an upbeat, uptempo Schlager melody. Beautiful. Watch the video below.

Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. A few are available as video & not audio. 1. Barhaan Dil : - KK . From the movie ' Mr. Singh & Mrs. Mehta '. This one is perhaps the first ever Ghazal sung by KK. Composed by Ustaad Shujaat Husain Khan & Shaarang Dev Pandit (Son of Pandit Jasraj) . Has got a BLUES feeling associated with it. KK has sung this rather beautifully. A very melodious composition complete with super singing. Orchestration is not so heavy, not so light. I can say, its a kinda fusion of western instruments & Indian music style. Go for it.
