My blog to discuss & share the music that I like. Great songs deserve the audience & the audience deserves great songs. I am trying to bridge that gap with my blog.
A vast majority of my posts are dedicated to Swedish music because Swedes have mastered the art of producing great music which my ears are addicted to. Of late, I have also started writing about Dutch Trance music.

Time To Pray by Sirusho, Jelena & Boaz - A soulful, inspirational song
Time To Pray, a beautiful-upbeat song that describes the pain & agony felt by people who have suffered from terrorism & other forms of violence. 3 singers from 3 different countries team up to sing a song that describes their common pain. The song is in 3 or 4 languages (I am not sure as I dont understand anything except Hindi, Gujarati & English). Sirusho from Armenia, Jelena from Serbia & Boaz from Israel have sung just beautifully. Their voices gel so well with each other. Music wise, its a brilliant composition with influence of Rock. This song breaks the barriers of countries, languages & cultures. This shows music knows no barrier.
It really pumps you up. The upbeat feel is quite evident right from the time Jelena sings O My Lord. One of the rare songs that is sure to make you happy & connected to almighty. Do go for it.
Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Like I always say, give songs their time to grow on you. Don't write it off straight away. I am not including James Blunt's You're Beautiful as I have not heard that song properly. Also, Chaudahvin Ka Chaand doesn't feature here since am not very much into old songs.
So, below is the list of my favourite songs that I hear to praise her beauty, in no particular order.
1. Main Agar Kahoon(Om Shanti Om) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal. Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, kaaynaat mein nahin hai kahin, taareef ye bhi to sach mein kuchh bhi nahin. No need to explain anything. She indeed is beautiful & this song seconds that. 2. Ek Ladki To Dekha To Aisa Laga(1942 A Love Story) - …
"I can't seem to walk right, I cant seem to talk right, I keep doing stupid little things. You cripple my brain babe, by being amazing, I keep doing stupid little things.Am stupid with you, you raise my heartbeat when you smile.Am stupid with you, you raise my heartbeat everytime.Am stupid with you, you, you. Am stupid with you, you, you." If the above lines didnt excite you, you never loved someone. Only a person who loves can feel the warmth of it. Today, I present a song that describes aptly the condition of a doting lover. Its one super sweet, super cute song that goes to warm your heart & make you love your lover's smile even more. Stupid With You is an upbeat bubblegum pop (not sure, though!) song from Eric Saade's 2nd Studio Album Saade Vol. 1 which debuted at # 1 on Swedish Albums Chart & continued to be for 5 weeks!. It remained on the chart for 44 weeks & was the fastest selling album for 2011. Its written by none other than Fredrik Kempe alon…
Around 4 years ago when i took NIIT IT Aptitude Test (NITAT), first question that I encountered was a comprehension one. It was a paragraph about drums & percussion. It said percussion is heart of any song. Well, I agree. But there are a few songs that don't have percussion part. Percussion means any music instrument like drums, tabla, dhol, dholak, mridang etc. Probably this is first of its kind post. Below are the 2 very good songs that don't rely on percussion. 1. Jaao Na (What's Your Raashee?) - Music & Singer - Sohail Sen. Progressive. Almost entirely carried out by guitar strings. Very enjoyable, very sweet.
2. Tujhko Jo Paaya (Crook) - Music - Pritam, Singer - Mohit Chauhan. Again relies on guitar strings. Down-tempo & a bit coarse.
