Music Review of Raaz 3

Music Review of Raaz 3.
Raaz 3 : - Music - Jeet Ganguly & Rashid. Lyrics  - Rashid, Sanjay Masoomm (2,3,4) & Kumaar (5,6)
Jeet Ganguly (1st song of the album has been composed by Rashid) is  one composer who has been giving melodious music right from his debut. Earlier he teamed up with Pritam & gave chartbusters like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Later he left to compose independently. Blood Money proved his calibre. Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi was quite a good album. Now comes Raaz 3 & is perhaps his best work in Bollywood.

Raaz 3 is a complete album with all the elements of great likeable music. Album bears the label of Bhatt camp & all the songs reflect that There are a total of 6 songs without any remix. Below is the Music Review.

1. Deewana Kar Raha Hai : - Singer - Javed Ali.

Can't be a better opening to the album. Deewana Kar Raha Hai is melodious to the core. Composed by Rashid, this one is a typical Javed Ali song. He sings it just beautifully. Very Nadeem - Shravan'ish music that is soft & easy on ears. Will entice you straightaway. Fusion of Rock elements with classical melody is so very interesting. Lyrics are written by Rashid himself & are very good.

2. Zindagi Se : - Singer - Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan.

When Shafqat is the singer, we can expect super silky voice & melodious song. Zindagi Se lives upto that expectation. Slow paced song with beautiful yet simple lyrics. Orchestration is simple but is very effective. Guitar, piano & flute gel so well altogether along with electronic organs tunes.

3. Rafta Rafta : - Singer - KK.

Since the song bears the name of master singer KK, its bound to be good. Rafta Rafta is such a beautiful song. KK carries out the entire songs on his own. Instruments accompany him well. Flute sounds sound interesting. Lyrics are simple & sweet. Super tuneful & melodious. Very easy on ears & KK's singing is like icing on cake. Go for it. Absolute treat.

4. Oh My Love : - Singer(s) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal.

Sonu Nigam doesn't come behind mic often these days. But when he comes, result is magical. Be it Jab Se Mere Dil Ko (Teri Meri Kahaani), Shirt Da Button (Kya Super Kool Hain Hum) or Oh My Love. This one is a bit different from above 3 songs of album. This one is more Pop'ish with more influence of western music. Orchestration is again simple & effective. Shreya sounds way too sweet & it was expected for this very song. Sonu is in full flow. Lyrics are very effective & go well with the music. Excellent.

5. Kya Raaz Hai : - Singer - Zubeen Garg & Shreya Ghoshal.

Since the movie is a thriller, there has to have some dark music to go with it. Kya Raaz Hai is exactly the same stuff. Orchestration is apt. Has a haunting type of feel. Zubeen Garg is heard after a long time. Though not very catchy, it will grow on you. Nothing exceptional but yes, it sure is interesting.

6. Khayalon Mein : - Singer - Shreya Ghoshal.

This one is quite an odd addition to the movie that is a thriller. Its a simple romantic number meant for romantic movies. Musically, its not that great. Orchestration is good with use of slight Latino style music & typical bollywood stuff. Might grow on you. Use of different instruments is likeable. Nothing much to write about this.

Overall, Raaz 3 is a great album with at least 4 songs to add to your playlist. Last 2 songs are not very good (in my opinion) but might grow on you if given a few hearings. Album sounds a bit like Shaapit, music-wise. You will get the same feeling when you hear Shaapit songs. But, yes, Jeet Ganguly delivers yet another hit. Needless to say, Rashid wins heart with his song Deewana Kar Raha Hai.

My pick(s) : - Deewana Kar Raha Hai , Oh My Love & Rafta Rafta.

Songs To Tell Your Love She Is Beautiful - My Favorites

Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Like I always say, give songs their time to grow on you. Don't write it off straight away.  I am not including James Blunt's You're Beautiful as I have not heard that song properly. Also, Chaudahvin Ka Chaand doesn't feature here since am not very much into old songs. So, below is the list of my favourite songs that I hear to praise her beauty, in no particular order. 1. Main Agar Kahoon (Om Shanti Om) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal. Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, kaaynaat mein nahin hai kahin, taareef ye bhi to sach mein kuchh bhi nahin. No need to explain anything. She indeed is beautiful & this song seconds that. 2. Ek Ladki To Dekh...

Dangerous Ishq - My Music Review

Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album. 2. Lagan Lagi More Piya :- Singer(s) - Shreya Ghoshal & Shahab Sabri. Reminds...

A Few Unknown Gems Sung by KK - My Review!

My review on  few songs of KK that haven't been noticed by people. List is still incomplete. Will add once I hear more of his relatively unnoticed songs. Please click the song name to play. A few are available as video & not audio. 1. Barhaan Dil : - KK .  From the movie ' Mr. Singh & Mrs. Mehta '. This one is perhaps the first ever Ghazal sung by KK. Composed by Ustaad Shujaat Husain Khan & Shaarang Dev Pandit (Son of Pandit Jasraj) .  Has got a BLUES feeling associated with it. KK has sung this rather beautifully. A very melodious composition complete with super singing. Orchestration is not so heavy, not so light. I can say, its a kinda fusion of western instruments & Indian music style. Go for it. It will please you all the more.  2. Yeh Tanhaai :- KK .  From the movie ' Mukhbiir' ( originally taken from KK's debut album Pal ), this is one track that really feels smooth as silk. Very subtle and melodious. Has g...
