Song of the Week - "Begging" by Anton Ewald

"Baby don't go, OOOOOO, you've got me begging begging, got me begging for more. I wont let go, OOOOOO, you've got me begging begging, got me begging for more!"

Guy requesting his girl not to go + pulsating electro sound + brilliant choreography = BEGGING!!!
Debutant Anton Ewald couldn't have got a better start to his singing career. People always knew about his dancing skills & choreography but singing is something he took rather seriously. Begging is another very hot favorite song of mine. Its tune just refuses to leave my head. An up-tempo, electropop tune with a massive chorus. Those backing Synth sounds (hooks) are simply superb. Well, lets discuss Begging.
Begging is an up-tempo, electropop song that first featured in Melodifestivalen 2013. In prelimnary round, it came 3rd & thus advanced to Andra Chansen (Second Chance). There it won convincingly & stormed to Final where it stood 4th. More importantly it peaked to #1 on Swedish chart & stayed at #2 for a month before ending up being #3 & subsequently left the chart after around 3 months. It is written by one of the finest Swedish songwriters Fredrik Kempe alongwith one of the best Swedish producers Anton Malmberg Hard Af Segerstedt who also wrote Eric Saade's Masquerade & Why Do We Need Fashion. Fredrik Kempe hardly fails to impress & Begging indeed is one of his best sounds after Popular. Lets now talk about technicalities.
Intro is super electro but brief. Verse is deep. Those backing AAWOO are interesting & effectively fill the song. But the finest moments are when Chorus starts. Its high-octane, massive, electro  & highly engaging. The sound is simply pulsating. Second verse & chorus are similar to first & Middle 8 is quite techno.Post-chorus is even more massive, floor filling. What stands out is the production. Those hooks really enthrall. And then the last chorus that melts into super amazing post-chorus. Not to mention Anton Ewald's super choreography & dancing.
Begging has everything. Melody, production, singing & one must give credit to young debutant Anton Ewald who made a brilliant progress since the prelims where he focused only on dancing & not singing. Andra Chansen saw him progress a lot. His choreography was brilliant always. He sang well, danced well & enlivened the atmosphere. Begging remains one of my favorites. Watch the Andra Chansen performance below.

Songs To Tell Your Love She Is Beautiful - My Favorites

Your girl is beautiful. You like her everything. Her eyes, face, smile, the way she speaks, the way she walks & what not? Today, I present a list of a few songs (both Hindi & English) that just beautifully describe HER beauty. It of course, is in my opinion & may not necessarily excite you. Like I always say, give songs their time to grow on you. Don't write it off straight away.  I am not including James Blunt's You're Beautiful as I have not heard that song properly. Also, Chaudahvin Ka Chaand doesn't feature here since am not very much into old songs. So, below is the list of my favourite songs that I hear to praise her beauty, in no particular order. 1. Main Agar Kahoon (Om Shanti Om) - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal. Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, kaaynaat mein nahin hai kahin, taareef ye bhi to sach mein kuchh bhi nahin. No need to explain anything. She indeed is beautiful & this song seconds that. 2. Ek Ladki To Dekh

Hindi Songs With Key-change!

Probably the first post of its kind (once again)! This very post talks about key-change in Hindi songs. What is a key-change all about? Well, click the link in the line above & listen to the songs there. You will notice a sudden change in sound towards the end. That's key-change for you. While most of the western-style music relies on it (not necessarily), its a rare phenomena in Hindi songs just like this . If you're keen listener, you'll be able to feel the difference in sound aka the key! Below are such very few Hindi songs. 1. Chup Chup Ke - Movie:- Rush | Music: - Pritam 2. Hum Sey - Movie:- Humse Hai Jahan | Music:- Siddharth - Suhas Siddharth - Suhas are known for their Rock influenced music & vocalist Suraj Jaggan, too, is known for his Rock influenced vocals. Powerful voice, though melody doesn't impress much. Lyrics are cliched as well. But I like it for that KEY-CHANGE! 3. Tum Ho Mera Pyaar - Movie:- Haunted 3D | Music:- Chirantan B

Dangerous Ishq - My Music Review

Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album. 2. Lagan Lagi More Piya :- Singer(s) - Shreya Ghoshal & Shahab Sabri. Reminds of Tere Na
