Gulon Mein (Upbeat Version) - A song by KK that deserves special mention

KK is my most favorite singer, those who know me know this. I have almost all the Hindi songs that he has sung apart from a few Telugu ones as well. One thing that defines him is his penchant for QUALITY & not quantity. That is the reason you'll hardly find any of his songs that lacks melody. Enough said. From today, I have decided to include posts dedicated entirely to some of the most beautiful, melodious Hindi songs of my liking. And the list kicks off with KK's best song Gulon Mein (Upbeat Version). I wont spoil its beauty by going too technical (I am myself not an expert). I want you all to listen to this gem & go high. Ofcourse I will be discussing it below a bit.

 Gulon Mein (Upbeat Version), as the name suggests, is an upbeat soft-rock song from the movie Sikandar. Its composed by brilliant Sandesh Shandilya with lyrics by Neelesh Misra (of "Yaadon Ka Idiot Box" fame). Ofcourse Chorus lines are from famous ghazal Gulon Mein sung by great Mehndi Hasan Saahab. But rest of the lines / lyrics have been written by Neelesh who also penned some of other KK hits like Maine Dil Se Kaha, Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai, I am In Love & Humko Pyaar Hua etc. Its pure bliss right from it's intro. KK sounds his best & lyrics are so so so beautiful that I lost my heart to it on very first hearing. And I still can't get enough of it. Magical, beautiful & wonderful. MESMERIZING.

Dangerous Ishq - My Music Review

Reviewing Dangerous Ishq Music. Music : - Himesh Reshammiya  Lyrics : - Sameer Anjaan & Shabbir Ahmed. Dangerous Ishq has 5 originals, 4 Remixes & 2 Reprise version. It is one of those rare music albums that is based on Indian melody barring Umeed which is fast, peppy foot-tapping number. You won't find usual stuff in the album (talking about the 5 originals only). Music is simple, melodious, easy on ears & a bit repetitive. Below is the review of Dangerous Ishq. 1. Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua :- Singer(s) - Rahat  Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar. Melodious piano tunes open the song. Sounds very much like Nadeem-Shravan's previous work but I am not against it. Song is very soft, beautiful & is very easy on ears. Listen to it once & you will start humming Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua every now & then. Tune is simple yet addictive. Good start to the album. 2. Axwell Λ Ingrosso - Dreamer

Swedish duo  Axwell Λ Ingrosso ( who were 2/3rd of legendary Progressive House trio Swedish House Mafia ) made their comeback in 2014 with a new single called Something New . I am not counting the debut EP X4 here. Something New quickly became my top favourite & I still consider it the best track they have ever produced. I can even say Something New is one of my all-time favourites across all the genres. But this post is not about Something New . It is about something new ;) So, I am talking about their another single Dreamer from their debut album More Than You Know . I first heard the song when I was on my first Europe trip & it is one of the reasons why I love this song so much. It is hard for me not to associate music with time!
