"Then a wise man came up & he said, I see you're sad, go back & then beg for the love you had. Stranger saved my life tonight, I need my girl, I love her, yes I do. Stranger saved my soul tonight, turned my life around." Fed up of electropop or synthpop? Want to hear something different? How about a heart-melting soothing love ballad? Are you broken hearted? Want some relief from that heartache? Today I introduce a beautiful love ballad sung by Swedish singer Mans Zelmerlow . Its called A Stranger Saved My Life Tonight . This one is really a cure to your broken heart. Whenever I feel low, i listen to this. It instantly lifts up my mood & gives me a reason to smile. Pure bliss! So, lets discuss it in detail. Song of the Week - "Begging" by Anton Ewald

" Baby don't go, OOOOOO, you've got me begging begging, got me begging for more.  I wont let go, OOOOOO, you've got me begging begging, got me begging for more! " Guy requesting his girl not to go + pulsating electro sound + brilliant choreography = BEGGING !!! Debutant Anton Ewald couldn't have got a better start to his singing career. People always knew about his dancing skills & choreography but singing is something he took rather seriously. Begging is another very hot favorite song of mine. Its tune just refuses to leave my head. An up-tempo, electropop tune with a massive chorus. Those backing Synth sounds (hooks) are simply superb. Well, lets discuss Begging. Begging is an up-tempo, electropop song that first featured in Melodifestivalen 2013 . In prelimnary round, it came 3rd & thus advanced to Andra Chansen (Second Chance). There it won convincingly & stormed to Final where it stood 4th. More importantly it peaked to #1 on Swedis

Song of the Week "Temple of Love" by BWO

Temple of Love is an amazingly peppy, high-octane, full of energy song that you wont be able to ignore. Definitely the best Synthpop song I have ever heard. This one really enthralls my broken heart. Been feeling quite sad of late & Temple of Love helps me get over those blues. Its brilliant. Pure bliss. One of my all-time favorites. Lets dive deep into the technicalities. Temple of Love is an uptempo, upbeat song written by Alexander Bard & Anders Hansson & sung by Martin Rolinski who are a part of Swedish Synthpop band BWO or Bodies Without Organs. It first featured in Melodifestivalen 2006 where it stood 2nd. Then it was released as a single from the studio album Halcyon Days & reached to # 1 on Swedish chart. Song kicks off with a long delicious intro. Doesnt follow the common verse-chorus-bridge-postchorus style. Chorus is just amazing that repeats many times. Since its a Synthpop number, you'll feel Synthesizer sounds all over. Martin puts all his e

Popular - Eric Saade

If there is a tune that has been stuck in my head for more than a year, it has got to be Popular sung by Sweden's very own Eric Saade . The song is so addictive that I can listen to it any number of times & thats exactly I do. Popular is an uptempo, dance-pop number that will make you tap your feet anytime. Its written by Fredrik Kempe who needs no introduction. A veteran songwriter who has breathed life into this song that has slightly odd lyrics. Popular is one of his greatest hits of all-time & is unlikely to get off my head. The song first featured in Melodifestivalen 2011 & won it. Then it advanced to Eurovision Songs Contest 2011 & came 3rd. Intro starts off with whistles. Verses are good but CHORUS, ladies & gentlemen, is brilliant. You just cant get enough of this. Middle eight is amazing as Eric screams it loud. And then the best thing comes, the Post-chorus. That key-change & the vocal delivery just stand out. Bang ON! The way Eric finishes

Today I bring to you an absolutely stunner, upbeat, uptempo Schlager song sung by Swedish singer Sanna Nielsen . Its called Vagar Du, Vagar Jag which means If you dare, I dare too. This Schlager gem has been composed by Schlager legend Fredrik Kempe alongwith 2 other greats Bobby Ljunggren & Henrik Wikstrom . Vagar Du, Vagar Jag first featured in Melodifestivalen 2007 where it reached to the final & stood 7th. Even though I dont understand Swedish a bit, i can clearly feel the energy in this song. It just sets the mood right! Intro is gorgeous thanks to beautiful Piano chords. The songs starts off as a slow ballad (intro only till first verse) but soon melts into an uptempo chorus. Percussion stands out. So do th

Found a great music genre Schlager that just blew my head off. Presenting you an absolute Schlager gem Hero performed by Swedish pop-singer Charlotte Perrelli & composed by great Swedish composer Fredrik Kempe . How do I describe this beauty? The song is pure bliss. With a hint of 80's pop sounds in the background, Hero is magical in leaving its impression on mind. Composition is brilliant, just brilliant. Arrangements are mind-blowing & singing is top notch. Been listening to it for past 6 months & haven't been able to get it off my head. Yes, its that addictive. You'll definitely appreciate Perrelli's high pitched singing. The key-change towards the end is awesome. Fredrik seems to have put all his efforts in the arrangement. Unforgettable. The bridge is perhaps the best part of this song. Such an upbea
